
Hali Englert
Hali Englert graduated from Macalester College in 2015 with her BA in Geology and graduated in 2016 from the Richard Gilder Graduate School at the American Museum of Natural History with her MA in Earth Science Education. She taught high school in Brooklyn for 6 years while mentoring prospective teachers and researched pedagogical approaches to improve science literacy in high needs schools. Along with her passion for educating others about the natural world, she enjoys creative problem solving and values communicating information, making material accessible for all persons.
Hali is an active muay thai practitioner, cat mom, and small business owner. Outside of work, you can usually find her training, reading a book, watching Marvel movies, or using her embroidery skills to create customized pet patches.
